LUKE MACQUEEN, co-founder and Chief Science Officer, Boston Meats

Luke MacQueen is co-founder and Chief Science Officer at Boston Meats Inc., a Boston area startup that is bringing texture to alternative meats. Luke is also a research associate in the Disease Biophysics Group at Harvard University where he develops new materials and tissue engineering methods to build improved laboratory models that reduce our dependence on animal testing. Prior to this work, Luke obtained his PhD in Engineering Physics from the Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal and then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Toronto in the field of cellular mechanobiology.
